Manual Wood Cutter

The manual input in given to the system by means of rotating handling or pedaling by leg. This makes the axle to rotate and also makes the helical gear wheel to rotate. Since the handle is rotated in clockwise direction, the gear wheel rotates in clockwise direction as per the rotational direction of handle.

This motion is transmitted to the pinion by the external meshing. Since the pinion size is 3times more than size of the wheel  the pinion shows 3revolution for one revolution of wheel. As the pinion rotates the connected sprocket also rotates , Thus the rotary motion of sprocket in converted in to linear motion of chain meshing with it.

This makes the sprocket at the top to rotate, so the cutting tool also gets rotated by means of axle connected for single revolution of the wheel ,the tool rotates 3times . so the 300tooth cutter, the wooden work piece. so the cutting operation occurs an faster and better for low of feed itself, thus the wooden piece in manually using the manual wood cutting machine.

THIS TYPE OF SYSTEM CALLED AUTOMATIC DIM AND DIPPER IS USED TO CONTROL THE INTENSITY OF BULB AUTOMATICALLY .BY KNOWING THE LIGHT INTENSITY VALUE, THE INTENSITY OF THE BULB IS VARIED ACCORDINGLY.
THIS SYSTEM IS ACCURATE, RELIABLE AND IT IS EASY TO OPERATE ALSO.THE SYSTEM CONSIST POWER SUPPLY UNIT, LIGHTING SYSTEM, LDR (LIGHT DEPENDENT RESISTOR) COMPARATOR,AND A RELAY.
WHEN THE SYSTEM IS INTRODUCED IN THE AUTOMOBILES CHANGES IT AUTOMATICALLY HIGH BEAM TO LOW BEAM WHENEVER A VEHICLE APPROACHES FROM OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND SWITCHES BACK TO HIGH BEAM WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS PASSED.

Introduction

Recruitment and Selection aim to search and hire suitable candidate to fill vacancies in SBCGT with the view to satisfying human resources needs. The search may be internal and/or external.

Any position within SBCGT that become vacant will be filled, on completion of a requisition form by the immediate supervisor. Restructured on newly created positions will only be activated upon approval from the board.

The success and adaptability of a Company depends upon the recruitment of employees who are flexible, adaptable and committed to the success of the SBCGT.

Objectives

This section aims to promote and maintain high standards of professional recruitment practice by encouraging recruiters to adhere to best practices.

Recruitment Authorization Procedure

Authorisation

All authorisation procedure detailed below must be completed prior to the commencement on any recruitment procedure.

  • Prior to the employment of any employee the Employment Authorization Form (Appendix 2) must be completed.
  • The employment of all individuals for budgeted positions within SBCGT must be authorised by the Department Head and Chief Executive Officer.
  • Employment of Personnel to the position of Manager of Departments will require the authorisation of the Chief Executive Officer.

Student Bulletin Board Management System

INTRODUCTION

An Overview

The project entitled  “Student Bulletin Board Management System” aims at developing a Student Bulletin Board for students and teachers for sharing notes,news,questions, placement information, etc .The project has been developed with JSP as the Front End and Microsoft Access 2003 as the Back End .The project is prepaired to implement in Windows Xp platform. The project helps to maintain  all transaction between teachers and students.

Objective Of The Project

 The main objective of the project is to manage the time consumption and work burden will be reduced immensely . As a result of the detailed study carried out , various objectives are formulated . There should  be an entry screen and report at every stage of  the application. Facility for the maintenance of all the tables facility to accept  validate and process data . Facility to generate all essential reports. Help should provided at each and every steps .Thus making user friendly. Validation checks must be performed at each and every level .Database  should be designed with minimum redundancy.

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF KEYWAY ATTACHMENT FOR CONVENTIONAL LATHE

ABSTRACT

Mechanical engineering without production and manufacturing is meaningless and inseparable. Production and manufacturing process deals with conversion of raw materials inputs to finished products as per required dimensions specifications and efficiently using recent technology

In order to perform different operation in a lathe such as different type of turning, chamfering, polishing, grooving, thread cutting, filling, knurling etc. In this project we have to decide that the keyway operation can be done using conventional lathe with help of keyway attachment.  Our project is based on the need for the work holding devices. This  fabrication which will enable the operation keyway process easier. In generally the slotting/milling operation can be performed by slotting machine but in this case the keyway operation can be done using conventional lathe through keyway attachment

Our project  have the following objectives 

  1.  To reduce the lead time.
  2.  To increase the productivity by using keyway attachment which is attached in the lathe.
  3. Even an unskilled technician can use them
  4. No need for purchasing special machine for keyway ie. Slotting/milling With these features, we sincerely hope that our project serve as a valuable project. We welcome the correction, comments based on our project.
