OBJECTIVE OF STUDY

  To sustain the competitive advantage an organization must have commitment for improvement, innovation and change and the most important catalyst towards developing these qualities are superior human resources and their capabilities. It has become very important for the organizations to recruit employees with care, train them on ongoing basis to improve productivity and innovation and provide proper work environment so that organization can attract and retain good talent. Progressive management will have to harness intelligence, expertise and commitment of its employees in achieving the organizations strategic aims.  This makes the role of human resource development ever so important in ensuring the success of any business.

In this context the most important issues are attracting and retaining talent; HRD interventions in developing global competitiveness; assessing and evaluating the impact of HRD interventions; and benchmarking HRD practices.
